We exclusively test web conferencing and webinar software that is offered as an „application service“ (or SaaS) over the Internet – so that you do not have to install your own server – and that meet our selection criteria. Our focus is on solutions that enable online collaboration and presentations or trainings in a one-to-many scenario using either desktop sharing or a virtual room for upload of documents. If a tool enables video conferencing next to the above functionalities we indicated it in our results overview. Enterprise solutions that would require a complex IT-infrastructure for testing, or that do not offer free test accounts, are excluded from our ranking of web conferencing solutions.
