The web conferencing software is appropriate for ad hoc meetings and offers only a small range of functions. The host is able to show his desktop via screen sharing as well as hand over mouse and keyboard control to his attendees enabling them to control his screen. Features that allow interaction between participants, such as chat, polls, whiteboards, or tools for marking documents and desktop items are not included in the web conferencing software.
Participants can attend online meetings through their browser. No download, plug-in, Java or Flash is needed. Joining a meeting through this way limits the functions for participants, e.g. it does not allow them to share their screen.
Bottom line: The screen sharing function of Glance is very easy to use. Though, the value for money is not justified. The pricing is comparable to the top tools but the program is missing some important features for an online meeting software.
