Zoom Review

Zoom is a web conferencing and webinar software with a broad and well-structured range of functionalities. Basically, the program can be used in different scenarios: virtual collaboration, online demos and online trainings.

During a meeting the host can decide whether they want to show the other participants their entire screen or rather only selected applications. Additionally, they can switch control of mouse and keyboard to any other participant.

Zoom supports high quality video conferencing for both hosts and participants. Zoom messaging allows you to chat, share files, and invite contacts to a meeting - all on your Zoom client for PC, Mac, iOS, Android and BlackBerry.

Zoom’s desktop client makes it very easy for the host to handle the meeting. The Zoom Microsoft Outlook Plugin is designed to make scheduling a meeting in Microsoft Outlook quick and convenient. Zoom offers integrated telephone conference and VoIP service.

Bottom line: Zoom is a web conferencing and webinar software which offers a rich set of functionalities and performs well, for both scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
